please can you forward Rachel Thompson speaker. To me. As I would like to talk to her more about sleep. As I am involved developing online sleep course. Also I had Admiral Nurse support. It was withdrawn to a old law as my dad not been in troubled waters. Please address this. As not everyone can get your support. It was difficult for me when my nurse was withdrawn as it was the time of end of life.

To all attendees - we are planning future webinars….what topics would you like us to cover?
Adele: Maybe you can look at the other rare dementias -
Can Chris tell us how it feels for him - unless he has some issues with speaking due to his cognitive impairment?
Adele Younger on set dementia and family support/ services. Especially those with children of school age.
Have you much input regarding dementia in people with learning/intellectual disabilities, including down's syndrome?
There are still no easy solutions for how to best support all those people who do not have access to the internet.
Susan - would telephone calls not be supportive?
Yes, but we all know that being able to see a face makes such a difference
But better than nothing
Alan G Richardson
very open sharing as always.
We are trying to improve the 3NDWG website but a little strapped for people power at the moment!….If you would like to ensure you get emails about the webinars and newsletters please sign up to be a member you don’t have to have dementia anyone can join www.3ndwg.org We are also going to upload all the links to the previous webinars so you can listen again or share with colleagues. We’re getting there. Thank you for your patience! Adele
Agree and that's what we are doing for now but I worry about the new normal and the current discussion about virtual conferences and meetings maybe replacing the old style get togethers
Alzheimer’s Society offer Companion Calls for people with dementia, please go to www.alzheimers.org.uk to register
I work with Care and Repair in Bridgend and we make befriending calls to our clients who are lonely. I am the Dementia Caseworker and I ring to speak as much to the family as the client as they are also lonely at this time.
Alan G Richardson
